Day 3 - Mountain Tour |

On day three we joined a “Mountain Tour” to discover the island. Our second stop after a beautiful view point was a visit of Grand Father and Grand Mother (we’ll let the rocks speak for themselves). Following an elephant ride, the jeep took us deeper into the jungle stopping off at a water fall and a hidden location which is home to a variety of dancing or fighting statues. We also stopped at a rubber plantation. The jeep ride through the mountainous jungle was quite an experience. This excursion was finished with a visit to big Buddha and once back in the hotel, we finished it off with another cocktail at the bar. |
